중동사거리 광장조성사업 기본 및 실시설계

-Project Theme : Regeneration of Square of Jung-Dong Crossroad, Project of Nammun 866 Square
-Background and purpose: The project target site is a small square about 200m2.
To make the square and streets a local attraction, we thought that first, it should become a space Suwon citizens cherish and enjoy, second, the space should be where Suwon's old history and contemporary sensitivity harmonize, and third, it should express the identity of Nammun 866 square.
As a result, we created a ‘Culture board’ in the form of a newspaper on UHPC concrete, where people from different generations can share their stories about the square.
The square contains memories, but is empty in form. The empty square will be filled with various meetings and events and the clock tower will serve as a landmark. It is planned as a rest area and a green space for pleasant walking.
The square once enjoyed its heyday but was almost forgotten by the changing times. They are now revived through creative design solutions.
The culture board, which contains the area’s history, becomes a stepping stone for creating a public memory by connecting people with the surrounding commercial area. Nammun 866 Square has become a public cultural space that people from various generations can identify with and an interesting place to share memories from 1795 to 2020.
Initially, the project was started by appealing to the local government the desperate need of Suwon citizens for several years.
After that, it took about a year from design to construction to make Nammun 866 Square a local attraction. Several design proposals were reviewed by experts in different areas who offered consultations on its development. The facilities in the space were reviewed through simulation, and articles on the culture board were also gathered.
Designers (TND Landscape Design Group), planners (Suwon Urban Design Team), city PD (Byron), merchants’ association, and Micon, a culture board manufacturer, had dozens of meetings and as a result, a distinctive design was realized through collaboration from planning to construction.
The rundown area had problems such as the lack of safety and other social problems but it is reborn with distinctive themes, allowing all generations to share information of the past and the present.
Of course, it will contribute as a positive element of the region by improving the walking landscape for users, and the use of new materials and methods and the design of a cultural board with future value will remain an educational model.
A lot of people showed interest in reviving the square, which was forgotten as time passed, so Nammun 866 Plaza was created with a new landscape design, which can be remembered for a long time by many people. It has become a place that symbolizes the history of the region.
In addition, it will become a space where people from different generations can share culture and enjoy themselves and the square will be alive again with people, contributing to the development of the local community.

추억의문화거리사업[Bounce Maesan]
역세권 상권 르네상스 추억의 문화거리
르네상스. 이름에서 알 수 있듯 수원 문화부흥 사업의 한 부분으로 재조성된 이 곳은 매산로 테마거리로 진입하는 약 60.0m정도의 일반적인 진입 보행통로이다.
과거 이곳은 매산천이 지나가며 청량한 이야기가 흘렀지만, 현재에는 상가 입구 보행로의 역할만 하고 있었다.
약 9.0m의 넓은 폭을 가진 도로를 보다 효율적으로 활용하기 위한 고민이 이어졌고, 매산로 테마거리 진입부의 인지성을 강화하고 상권 활성화를 위해 사람들이 잠시 머무는 공간을 조성하고자 하였다.
청량하고 다채로운 색이 담긴 곳
기존 구두수선방과 상가건물, 차량통행 등으로 제약이 많았던 거리에 입면 요소에 특화디자인을 하고자 하였다.
반투명의 폴리카보네이트 소재를 활용하여 휴먼스케일 이상의 높은 문화 가벽설치로 자칫 위요되어 보일 수 있는 공간에 무게감을 덜어주었고, 빛의 각도에 따라 변화하는 색감을 가진 다이크로익필름을 활용하여 공간의 다채로움을 더했다. 가벽에는 과거와 현재의 이야기, 응원의 글귀들을 적어 사람들로 하여금 발길을 멈추어 글을 읽어보며 공간을 즐길 수 있게 하였다.
바닥에는 수원의 역사를 시대의 흐름을 순서대로 간단하게 기록하여 거리를 거닐며 감상할 수 있는 역사가로를 디자인하고, 전체적으로는 매산천의 흔적을 담은 푸른색을 강조색으로 두어 거리에 활력을 불어넣었다.
과거 매산천의 흔적과 수원의 역사를 기억하고 새로운 추억을 만들어 가는 공간이 된 것이다.
활력넘치는 BOUNCE MAESAN
통행만 하던 공간에서 발길을 멈추고 잠시의 시간을 보내며 매산로 테마거리를 즐기고 수원의 역사를 발견한다.
거리를 거닐던 사람들이 가벽에 적힌 글귀를 읽어보고 통통튀는 색감 앞에서 사진도 찍으며 추억을 남긴다.
단조롭고 삭막했던 거리가 다양한 볼거리가 생기고 화려한 조명이 감싸는 문화 이벤트 거리로 변화한 것이다.
매산로 테마거리의 활성화를 위해 쉽게 지나치던 거리를 현장에 맞게 재단장하고 그 안에 수원의 이야기를 담아내며, 새로운 추억이 만들어질 수 있도록 다채로운 요소를 더함으로써 ‘공간에 지역성 담아내기’의 한걸음을 내딛었다.

영덕도서관

AROUND LAB : 지식의 실험실, 걷고 싶은 영덕도서관
영덕도서관은 영덕읍에 하나뿐인 공공도서관으로 주민들에게 필요한 문화지식의 집약처입니다. '청소년수련관'과 마당을 공유하며, '영덕시장'과 길을 공유하며 '오십천'과는 자연을 공유합니다. 생활 속 새로운 지식의 실험실로써 주민들의 생활과 자연을 이어주는 도서관이 되고자 합니다. 대지의 레벨차를 극복할 수 있도록 '나들목계단'을 조성하면서 접근이 편한 열린 도서관을 만듦과 동시에 인접한 청소년수련관과도 연계될 수 있도록 했습니다. 인접한 영덕시장과 1층을 공유할 수 있도록 통합마당을 만들고, 오십천 방향으로 열린 데크를 계획하여 내외부가 연계되는 쾌적한 공간이 되도록 했습니다.
석포 주민종합체육센터

움직임으로 만들어내는 자연 속 생활 체육센터
석포주민종합체육센터는 석포리 공공체육시설 인프라 구축의 시작이자 중심 역할을 하고, 지역체육거점 공공건축물로써 주민의 체력증진과 삶의 질 향상을 도모합니다. 도시와 자연의 연결점에서 석포리 주민들의 움직임을 자연으로 연결하며 삶의 에너지를 더욱 증폭시켜 석포리천, 오미산으로 이어지는 자연으로 뻗어나가게 합니다. 역동적으로 뻗어나가는 산세를 닮은 체육센터는 주민들의 생활체육거점으로 다시 태어나 자연의 에너지를 삶의 에너지로 돌려줄 것입니다.
진천 어린이(가족) 특화공간

거대하게 펼쳐진 꿈의 바다에서 어린이와 청소년들이 미래를 찾아가는 항해의 길라잡이가 되어줄 [진천군 꿈틀꿈틀 하우스:드림씨어터]는 놀이,교육,체험이 한 데 어우러진 어린이(가족)을 위한 특화공간입니다 세 개의 테마(SOUND,EDU,ACTIVE)로 구성된 각각의 공간은 아이들이 뛰어다니고 배우고 인지하는 활동의 범주에 따라 구성되었으며, 꿈을 향해 나아가는 아이들의 활기찬 모습을 담은 공간으로 태어날 것입니다.
안동 반다비 체육센터

장애인과 비장애인이 함께하는 생활 속 반다비 체육센터
향후 조성될 '안동종합스포츠타운'의 마스터플랜을 고려해 부지 남측의 공원과 적극적으로 연계 될 수 있도록 앞마당을 열어주어 자연환경과의 연결을 극대화하였습니다. 공용공간은 면적을 넓게 할애하여 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 할 수 있는 공동의 라운지를 두어 활발한 '교류'가 일어나고, 편안하게 소통하는 열린 공간이 되도록 하였습니다.
